2. **Litter Composition**: Unlike pig farming, where sawdust is commonly used, the bedding for poultry can be more flexible. Straw or other locally available materials can be used instead of sawdust, which helps reduce costs.
3. **Moisture Management**: Poultry produce less liquid waste, so if the humidity of the bed is too low, it may affect the fermentation process. In such cases, light watering is recommended to keep the system running efficiently.
