Development and Research of New Microbial Feed Additives

This project represents a significant breakthrough in the core technologies of key industries in Beijing, and it was initiated under the leadership of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission with strong institutional support. The initiative was led by Beijing Dabei Agriculture Technology Group Co., Ltd., which organized the project through a public tendering process and invited bids from specialized institutions. It is a collaborative effort involving renowned organizations such as China Agricultural University, the Institute of Animal Husbandry at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Institute of Feed Research at the same academy, the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences, and the Beijing Institute of Nutritional Sources (Beijing Bailin Kangyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd.). These institutions are at the forefront of research in microbial feed additives. Five national and municipal research institutes have formed a joint project team, establishing an innovative mechanism that integrates production, education, and research. This model fosters independent innovation and enables enterprises to lead in the development of new and efficient technologies. The primary goal of this project is to leverage the leadership of core enterprises in the feed and aquaculture sectors. By addressing critical challenges in microbial feed technology, the project aims to develop green, safe feed additives and promote sustainable aquaculture practices in Beijing. The project also seeks to secure independent intellectual property rights and create a range of high-end microbial feed additive products that are urgently needed for large-scale production. This will not only support the growth of a green and pollution-free aquaculture industry in Beijing but also strengthen the technological and product leadership of key feed additive companies across the country. Moreover, it provides essential technical support for the broader development of the microbial feed industry and aligns with the Beijing Municipal Government's vision of achieving major breakthroughs in key industrial technologies. As the capital of China, Beijing is an international city, a cultural hub, and a livable metropolis. Developing modern urban agriculture has become a central focus of Beijing’s agricultural strategy. With the implementation of the "Modern Agriculture Action Plan 221" and "Project 124," the livestock and poultry seed industry in Beijing has experienced steady growth. Livestock farming in the suburbs has developed into a structured system, featuring dairy cows, broiler chickens, meat ducks, beef cattle, mutton sheep, and pigs. More than 70% of large-scale aquaculture operations have obtained national certification for pollution-free and green food products. Currently, animal husbandry contributes 52.4% to Beijing’s total agricultural output value, and livestock and poultry production accounts for 40% of the city's supply of livestock products. Therefore, the livestock sector remains a vital component of modern urban agriculture. However, there are still gaps in areas such as species structure optimization, infrastructure upgrades, improved feeding techniques, large-scale farming, environmental improvements, regional distribution optimization, and the safety of inputs like feed. Breeding concepts remain relatively outdated, creating challenges in ensuring the quality and security of livestock products. To address these issues, it is crucial to leverage the unique advantages of Beijing's suburban areas, make efficient use of aquaculture resources, enhance the quality of industry operations, and drive faster and more sustainable development of the aquaculture sector. This will not only boost farmers' incomes in the suburbs but also ensure a harmonious balance between aquaculture production and ecological environmental construction in the capital.

Neck Massager

Whether it's from sleeping weird, working out too hard, or sitting hunched over for hours staring at your computer, most of us have dealt with kinks in our necks from time to time. According to a peer-reviewed article from Marco Funiciello and Zinovy Meyler, Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, one of the best ways to soothe aches and pains in your neck is through massage therapy.

While going to a massage therapist can be a relaxing experience, it can also be quite expensive. So if you don't have the time or money to get a professional massage, investing in a portable, at-home neck massager is a cost-effective alternative. The handy gadgets can knead out tight knots and melt stress away with ease.

There are many kinds of neck massagers on the market, including portable handheld models, devices that wrap around your neck, and even manual massager rollers. Some boast special features like adjustable heating controls so you can apply heat therapy to painful spots, while others are designed to target pressure points for migraine relief.
