Installation of injection pump precautions

1. Before installing the fuel injection pump, it is essential to thoroughly clean all components to avoid introducing dirt or foreign particles into the pump during assembly. This can lead to premature wear of internal parts and reduce the overall lifespan of the system. Pay special attention to the fit between the plunger sleeve and the pump body, ensuring that no metal shavings, sand, or cotton fibers are present. These contaminants can cause oil leakage and damage critical components.

2. The plunger sleeve must be installed in the correct orientation. If it is reversed, the positioning screw may press against the oil inlet hole, restricting the flow of fuel. As a result, the amount of oil entering and exiting during the plunger's working stroke will be insufficient and slow, which can affect engine ignition and performance.

3. Proper installation of the positioning screws and gaskets is crucial. (1) The plunger set screw should not be too long, as this can push the plunger sleeve into the pump body, hindering its smooth movement within the sleeve. This can increase wear on mating parts and reduce the gap between the screw and the return hole, potentially blocking it and causing oil to back up, leading to engine "surging." (2) Avoid over-tightening the plunger sleeve screw, as this may deform the sleeve and prevent the plunger from moving freely. The installation should allow for slight movement of the plunger within the sleeve without rotation after the positioning screw is tightened. (3) Never omit the copper gasket when installing the set screw, and ensure a tight seal. Missing the gasket can result in serious oil leaks and air intake, causing unstable engine operation.

4. The gasket on the oil valve seat must be leak-free and properly aligned. (1) Inspect the high-pressure copper gasket and low-pressure rubber gasket carefully before installation. They must be intact and free from leaks. Any damage or improper installation can cause the high-pressure and low-pressure oil chambers to mix, resulting in faulty pump operation. (2) When tightening the oil valve seat, apply moderate force. After tightening, ensure the plunger can move smoothly within the sleeve at any position, without sticking or seizing. (3) The gasket must be flat and even. If it is warped or wrinkled, uneven pressure may be applied to the plunger sleeve, accelerating wear and reducing efficiency.

5. Adjust the fuel injection timing according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Correct adjustment ensures optimal fuel delivery, improves engine performance, and reduces the risk of mechanical failure due to improper timing.

Nucleic Acid (DNA/RNA) Extraction Kit

1. Introduction

The total viral nucleic acid extraction kit is suitable for extracting total viral nucleic acid from serum, plasma, tissue homogenate and other samples. The kit is based on silica column purification technology, which eliminates the need for toxic phenol-chloroform extraction and time-consuming alcohol precipitation. This product has successfully extracted nucleic acids from hepatitis B A/C, hepatitis C, and norovirus standard. The obtained DNA/RNA can be directly used in a series of downstream experiments such as PCR, RT-PCR, and LAMP.
Notice:

1. The carrier RNA solid must be dissolved in Nuclease Free Water to 1µg/µl before use, and vortex to dissolve. Store in aliquots at -70°C. If you need to store it at -20℃ for a long time, please repackage it according to the number of times of use.

2. Dissolve Proteinase K (20mg/ml): Add Proteinase Dissolve Buffer to dissolve Proteinase K to a final concentration of 20mg/ml. Proteinase K dry powder can be stored at 2-8°C for one year, but dissolved Proteinase K must be stored in aliquots at -20°C. Repeated freezing and thawing of Proteinase K can affect its activity.

3. Buffer VHB must be diluted with 14 ml absolute ethanol before use and stored at room temperature.

4. Buffer RW2 must be diluted with 80 ml of absolute ethanol before use and stored at room temperature.

3. Shelf life

Except for Proteinase K and Carrier RNA, other components of this product can be stored at room temperature (15-25°C) for 12 months, and should be stored at 2-8°C for long-term storage. Proteinase K and Carrier RNA dry powder are transported at room temperature. Please store at -20°C after receiving the test product, and store at -20°C after dissolving.
