From the experimental mouse to the graduate student

Release date: 2007-05-24

A groundbreaking study published on May 16th revealed a surprising discovery in the field of hair regrowth. Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania conducted experiments on mice, showing that deep skin wounds can lead to the regeneration of hair follicles and the growth of new hair. This finding brings hope for future treatments targeting baldness in humans.

The team used a technique where they removed a patch of skin measuring between 1 to 2.5 centimeters in diameter. Then, they administered a drug designed to reactivate dormant stem cells, effectively "waking up" their potential to form new hair follicles. After just three months, the mice grew new hair that was visually indistinguishable from their original hair, suggesting a natural and effective regenerative process.

This research, published in the prestigious journal *Nature*, challenges long-held beliefs about mammalian regenerative capabilities. While amphibians and some reptiles are known for their ability to regenerate limbs or tails, mammals were previously thought to have limited regenerative abilities. However, this study shows that mammals may possess more regenerative potential than previously assumed.

Dr. George Kosarelis, a professor of dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and the lead researcher, emphasized that these findings overturn traditional views. It was once believed that the number of hair follicles in mammals is fixed from birth, and once lost, they could not be regenerated. But this study suggests otherwise.

Kosarelis believes the results could open new doors for treating baldness and other forms of hair loss. The implications extend beyond cosmetic concerns, potentially offering medical solutions for patients suffering from various types of alopecia. As scientists continue to explore the mechanisms behind this discovery, it's possible that human treatments based on this research may become a reality in the near future.

Amino Series

Amino acid plays an important role in human and animal nutrition and health. It has wide use and prospect market. we are decided to develop an amino acid derivative compounds according to the company 's own personnel expertise . Currently we focus on the development of amino acid derivatives. Amino acid derivative is a compound derived from sequence of reactions by amino acid, the predecessor of the amino acid derivative is an amino acid. Under leading by Massachusetts Institute of Technology Dr. Wanghong Yao , synthesis tenology has continuous improvement, production process has continuous innovation. Our original synthesis method is on the transferring to the fermentation method , enzymatic method. Under strictly environmental pressure background, the method not only greatly reduce the pressure but also improve economic efficiency. Some of our products can reach production capacity in tons, we will take reasonable measures to try to meet the market demand , and strive to achieve on time delivery , delivery asap in timely period .
