In recent years, Cangxi County has fully relied on favorable aquatic biological resources, beautiful ecological environment, and excellent water resources, and has made "Cangxi Temple" as a key industry with special advantages in aquatic products and poverty alleviation. Adopting the industrialization model of “United Nations + Base + Farmers + Standardsâ€, three commercial Cangxi Afforestation Breeding Bases have been established in Shimen, Lingjiang and other towns and townships, and they have guided and cultivated the Jiangjiayuan Soft-shelled Turtle Farming Association and Heming Turtle. Five professional cooperative organizations, such as breeding and forestry aquaculture, store more than 50,000 germplasm resources of Cangxi wolfberry and annually produce more than 150,000 cubs. The products are exported to large and medium cities such as Guangzhou, Chongqing and Chengdu. In 2016, the county sold 30,000 pups, sold 100,000 commodities, created a production value of more than 90 million yuan, and raised farmers' income by more than 1,000 yuan per capita, injecting new vitality into the development of rural secondary and tertiary industries in our county.
