Winter crops love to "eat" boron

"Boron" is one of the indispensable trace elements in the growth and development of crops. Winter crops such as rapeseed, faba bean, wheat, potato, green manure and winter vegetables are good crops that have a good response to boron fertilizer. If boron is not available, it will affect growth, which has a great impact on yield or quality. Practice has proved that the application of boron fertilizer to winter crops can achieve significant yield increase. It is a measure for increasing production with less investment and effective results.

1. Rape. The shortage of "boron" in rapeseed, the atrophy at seedling stage is not long, and flowering is not true, which has a great impact on the yield and quality. The application of boron fertilizer can promote the normal growth of rapeseed, increase pods, increase seed setting rate and 1000-grain weight, and increase production by 10% to 20%. The rapeseed application of boron can be applied based on spraying, foliar application and foliar fertilizer spraying. During the transplanting of rapeseed, Koshi was uniformly mixed with 500 grams of borax per acre and applied to a transplanting or transplanting ditch per acre. After the transplanting, 500 g of borax was added to the root of each acre and the water was sprayed. Shiyi sprayed 0.2% borax solution once at the seedling stage, bud stage and early flowering stage, and the spraying fertilizer solution was 30 kg, 50 kg and 75 kg per mu respectively.

2, broad beans. The lack of "boron" in broad beans will also produce flowers without realizing elephants, affecting high yields. The application of boron fertilizer can reduce the loss of calyx, increase pod and grain weight, and increase production by 15% to 20%. Should be sprayed in the seedling stage, early flowering stage and flowering stage, a concentration of 0.1% borax solution, per acre spray fertilizer solution seedling period of 30 kg to 40 kg, flowering period of 50 kg to 75 kg.

3, wheat. The lack of "boron" in wheat, the abnormal tillering at the seedling stage, and the occurrence of "spontaneous panicle disease" at the later stage, were more open, low yield, and poor quality. The application of boron fertilizer can increase the seed setting rate, promote the fullness of grain and increase production by about 10%. It is advisable to spray one borax solution with a concentration of 0.05% to 0.1% at the delivery and jointing stages, each time about 50 kg of fertilizer solution per acre.

4, potato. Potatoes (potatoes) lack "boron", plant growth points or the top dead, lateral shoots increase and rapid growth, short internodes, so that the plant was in a short tussock, eventually leading to small tuber, low yield. Soaking seed tuber with a concentration of 0.1% borax solution for 4 hours to 6 hours after sowing can achieve significant yield increase. Can also be sprayed during growth, generally from the seedling stage to budding and flowering stage with 0.1% borax solution spraying 2 or 3 times.

5, green manure. The lack of “boron” in green manure, poor root nodule development, and poor nitrogen fixation make it difficult to obtain high yields. The borax solution with a concentration of 0.2% was sprayed once at the seedling stage, bud stage, and early flowering stage to increase the fresh grass production by more than 20%, and to keep the seeds from growing more than 25%.

In addition, winter vegetables such as cabbage, celery, lettuce, beet, radish, etc. are all vegetable crops that are more sensitive to “boron”. The addition of boron fertilizer can achieve good yield increase and quality improvement. The vegetable boron fertilizer is mainly used for foliar fertilizer spraying, and it should be sprayed for 2 to 3 times in the middle period before fertility, each sprayed with a concentration of 0.1% to 0.2% of borax solution 30 kg per acre. 50 kg
