Southern Lei Bamboo Shoot Covering Cultivation Techniques

Leizhu, also known as Leigong Bamboo, Phyllostachys praecox, and Early Garden Bamboo, are bamboo bamboos of the subfamily Gramineae. They were the first bamboo shoots of all bamboo shoots and had delicious bamboo shoots. They are well-known perennial vegetables in Zhejiang Province. Mainly located in the mountainous areas, semi-mountainous areas and part of the plains of the waste beach, gentle slope. Bamboo shoots cover cultivation is one of the new practical agricultural technologies promoted by Zhejiang province. 1 Biological characteristics and breeding season Phyllostachys praecox is an evergreen shallow rooted plant. The requirements for water and heat are: the annual average temperature is 15 to 22°C, the minimum low temperature is -20°C, and annual rainfall is above 1100mm. Deep soil layer, pH value of 4.5-7, and U-Sha soil and sandy loam with good air permeability and water retention properties are the most suitable. In the mountainous area, the best choice is at an elevation of 250m or less, a leeward sun, a well-lit southeastern slope, and a southern slope, with a low slope of 5 to 15 degrees. Lei bamboo shoots generally begin to shoot in early March and end at the end of April. In May, Hsinchu grows, leaves branches and leaves, underground grass whip grows in June, shoot differentiation begins in August, and some autumn bamboo shoots are unearthed in August and November. One year cycle, bamboo shoots are taken year after year. 2 Covering cultivation points Lei bamboo shoots adopt ground cover technology, which can increase the ground temperature by 5 to 8°C to reach the goal of bamboo shoots for early harvest. They are listed at the highest price before and after the Spring Festival and are generally covered in mid-December. 1 The cover generally uses bamboo leaves, chaff, rice straw, wheat straw, sawdust, organic fertilizer, etc. The bamboo leaves are the best for heat preservation and warming, followed by chaff and straw and other materials. However, in the production practice, the resources of the husks and rice straw are abundant, so they can be used in many ways, and they can be used for bamboo shoots 30 to 45 days earlier. 2 Coverage thickness is generally about 30cm thick for the cover, and the surface temperature after the cover is required to reach 10°C or more. 3 Coverage method can be used double cover method, that is, the lower layer with short straw, manure and other cover, warming for the heat layer, thickness 15 ~ 20cm, the upper cover chaff insulation, breathable insulation layer, thickness 10 ~ 15cm. 4 Coverage Management Before the coverage, the bamboo forest land shall be flattened, and then every 667 square meters of water shall be applied to 60 kg of urea or 1000 kg of human waste. According to the method, it is divided into two layers. After the cover is covered, if it is clear and not rainy and the soil is dry, it should be poured and poured 1 or 2 times to improve the soil moisture and promote fermentation. After half of the digging of bamboo shoots, part of the cover was removed to reduce soil temperature and humidity. Delayed bamboo shoots were unearthed to facilitate the retention of the mother bamboo. After the digging of bamboo shoots, the temperature gradually increased and the cover was removed twice.
