In this study, large mice were used as experimental subjects to evaluate the energy expenditure of large mice by the respiratory quotient of large mice (ie, the ratio of inhaled oxygen to exhaled carbon dioxide). In addition, it may be necessary to provide feeding water to large mice. The monitoring of the amount and frequency of feeding and drinking water also requires the collection of urine, as well as the monitoring of activities, weight and heart rate.
