The division of farm construction

1. Climate zone

Different regions have their own climate characteristics, and they should choose the appropriate form when designing a pig house. The climate zone for residential buildings is zone 5, zone I is cold, and the average temperature in January is below -15°C. The piggery should be designed according to the requirements of preventing cold, using warm walls and warm roofs, windowed or windowless closed pig houses; II The area is cold and the average temperature in January is -15 to -5°C. It should be mainly cold-proof and heatstroke-proof. Warm and warm roofs, window-closed pig houses, pigs and finishing pigs can also be used semi-open. The area is cold in winter and cool in summer. The average temperature in January is between -5°C and 0°C. The average temperature in July is around 25°C. We must pay attention to cold protection and heatstroke prevention. We should adopt ordinary brick walls, thermal insulation or thermal insulation roofs. In addition to the use of window-closed type, the other houses can be semi-open or open; the area IV is cold winter and hot summer, the average temperature in January is 0~5°C, and the average temperature in July is 27 ~29 °C or so, the annual air humidity is high, should be mainly sunstroke, taking into account the cold, it is advisable to use ordinary walls, increase the window area, heat the roof, in addition to the barn and nursery homes, other pigs can be used half Open or Open; V Zone is Hot Zone The average temperature in January is above 5°C. The average temperature in July is between 28 and 30°C, and the air humidity is high. It should be designed with heatstroke prevention requirements. Generally, it can be open or pergola-style, and the roof can be insulated and lengthened.

2. The form of the pig house

(1) According to the roof form

There are single-slope, double-slope, united, flat-topped, vaulted, campanile, and semi-bell-bell type. The single slope type has a small span, simple structure, low cost, good light and ventilation, and is suitable for small-scale pig farms. The double-slope type has a large span, which is commonly used in double-row pig houses and multi-row pig houses. The insulation effect is good, but the investment is more. The combined features are between single slope and double slope. The flat top type is suitable for various spans, such as good insulation and waterproofing, and is used well, but the cost is high. The clock tower type is equipped with a sunroof on a double-slope roof. If only the sun is on the sun side, it is a semi-bell type. The room is large and is conducive to lighting and ventilation. The disadvantage is that it is not conducive to heat preservation and is suitable for hot areas.

(2) According to the structure of the wall and the presence or absence of windows

There are open, semi-open and closed pig houses. The open type has walls on three sides, one without walls, good ventilation and light transmission, no insulation, and low construction costs. The semi-open type has walls on three sides and a half wall, and the insulation is slightly better than the open type. Enclosed is a wall with four sides, which can be divided into two kinds of windows and no windows.

(3) Sort by pigs

There are single row, double row and multiple row pigs.

(4) According to the use of pigs

There are breeding houses, gestation houses, branching houses, nursery houses, and grow-out houses.

3. The direction of the pig house

The direction of the pig house is related to the natural lighting of the pig house and the protection against cold and heatstroke. It should be carefully considered. The orientation varies according to the specific circumstances of each place.

The basic structure of the pig house

The complete pig house consists mainly of foundations, floors, walls, roofs, doors, windows, manure urine ditch, and partitions.

(1) Basics

The foundation is the underground part of the pig house and requires sufficient strength and stability to withstand the load. Sand, gravel, lithologic soil and sandy soil are good natural foundations. Clay, loess and organic-rich soil layers should not be used as foundations.

The width of the foundation should be 10~15cm wider than the width of the wall. The depth depends on the specific circumstances.

(2) Ground

The requirements of the floor are sturdy and durable, and the insulation and imperviousness make it easy to clean and sterilize. The ideal floor is a concrete cement jointing flat brick type, followed by a compacted triple land plate, and the three-soil soil should be well-mixed, moderately humid and practically compacted. Pay attention to a slope of 3% to 4% to facilitate drainage. Different materials can also be used for different parts, such as: using wood and so on.

(3) Wall

Strong, durable and well-insulated. The ideal wall is a brick wall. Cement is required to make joints. A cement wall skirt should be set at 1.0 to 1.5 meters from the ground.

(4) Roof

Requires sturdiness, durability, no wind, no leakage, thermal insulation. The ideal roof is a slab of cement prefabricated slabs, and 15 to 20 cm thick soil is added for heat insulation and heatstroke protection. At present there are new technology products, using imported new materials, made of steel frame structure support system, corrugated steel roof plate, and sandwiched with glass fiber insulation cotton, thermal insulation effect is good.

(5) Doors and windows

The entrance and exit of staff, pigs and articles are generally 1.0-1.5 meters wide and 2.0-2.4 meters high. The design of the outer door should avoid the main wind direction in winter. The windows are used for lighting and ventilation. The size and quantity of the windows are related to heat preservation, heatstroke prevention and daylighting. They should be determined according to the local climate. The general window size is calculated from the ratio of the lighting area to the floor area. The breeder house is required to be 1:8-10, the finishing house is 1:15-20, the distance is 1.1-1.3 meters, and the distance is 40 centimeters from the eaves.

(6) Pigshed

In addition to the fenced barn, a fence must be built in the general closed pig house. Barrier materials are basically two types of brick wall cement plastering and steel fences. The vertical fence should be a fixed fence, and the horizontal partition can be a movable fence in order to adjust the area inside the house. The area occupied by the pigs was 1.26 square meters per head of sows, 6.48 square meters per head of boars, 0.5 square meters per head of growing pigs, 0.7 square meters per head of bred pigs, and 0.9 square meters per head of bred pigs.

(7) Stool ditch

Open pig houses are required to be located outside the front wall; fully enclosed, semi-closed pig houses can be located 40 cm away from the south wall and covered with slatted floors. The width of the manure sulcus should be designed according to the area of the house, at least 30 cm wide. The gap width of the slatted floor shall not exceed 1.5 cm.

4. Construction of various pig houses

(1) Breeding house

Breeding houses include male pens and sows to be equipped, and small-scale pig farms often have separate boars and sows, with a single open-air stadium. Large-scale breeding farms can be designed as double row and multi row.

(2) Infant housing

Pregnancy sows can be designed as double row and multi row. Small-scale farms can use a single open-air stadium.

(3) Houses

It is often closed with a window and is equipped with a bed of 2.21.8 meters. The layout is mostly two rows of three walkways or three columns of four walkways and requires heating equipment.

(4) Childcare house

It is often window-enclosed and equipped with a nursery net of 3 square meters per net. It can accommodate 10 pigs, two rows of three walkways or three rows of four walkways, equipped with heating equipment.

(5) Growing Beds

The growing house can be designed as single row and double row. Small-scale farms can be open in a single row. It is often set for two middle walkways.
