Summer ducks should use "character"

Summer is the prime time for rearing meat ducks, but the high temperature and high humidity environment can make the duck manures rot and ferment, breed pathogenic microorganisms, induce epidemic diseases, and adversely affect the growth of ducklings. In order to increase the survival rate of summer ducklings, the following "character" should be done.
Reduce the breeding density. To prevent crowding of ducks, stacking pressure, warming stuffy circles, while also increasing the basin and trough.
Adjust feed formulation. Dietary formulas for ducks at different stages of development vary. The summer feed formula should meet the required amino acids, so that the protein level is as low as possible to reduce feed digestion heat.
Change the feeding method. It is advisable to adopt net culture to reduce the contact between ducklings and feces, reduce the spread of disease, reduce the incidence, and reduce the nutrient consumption and heat production of ducks.
Optimize the feeding time. Try to feed in cool time early in the morning and from 8 to 10 o'clock in the evening.
Reduce sun exposure. Build a high and spacious duck house, where water can be sprayed or sprayed on the roof during high temperatures, and white ash can be painted on top of the house.
For the supply of fresh feed. If the feed is placed too long during high temperature and high humidity, or the feed in the feed tank is stagnant for too long, it will cause deterioration of the fermentation and should ensure the supply of fresh feed.
Keep the environment quiet. During the hot period, sudden shocks and noises must be avoided to interfere with the duck population and the activity of ducks should be minimized.
Do a good job of disinfection and epidemic prevention. Do a good job of disinfection to prevent the breeding of fly mosquitoes, so that the duck population from pest harassment.
