Prevention and cure of diseases in pepper

The diseases of the four major diseases of the pepper sunburn, umbilical rot, soft rot and disease, also known as "four major rotten Fruit disease." These four major diseases occur during the fruiting period of peppers and have a great influence on the yield and quality of peppers. Therefore, effective control should be carried out as soon as possible.

Sunburn. Sun burning disease is in the high temperature weather conditions, the sunny part of the fruit sun exposure, make the peel fade hardened, resulting in grayish leathery spots, thinning of the diseased surface, pulp tissue necrosis hard. In the later period, it is easily infected by other germs, causing black mold and rot. Prevention and cure of sunburn mainly involves timely watering, balanced water supply, and improvement of the microclimate in the field. At the same time when the pruning right to leave two leaves and then picking up the heart, this can play a role in the shade, reduce the incidence of disease.

Umbilical rot. Umbilical rot was the victim of the umbilical part of the fruit, and it initially appeared as a dark Green water stain and rapidly enlarged. The diseased part shrank and the surface was sunken. It is often blackened or rotted due to parasitic pathogens. Umbilical rot disease is mainly caused by high temperature and drought, insufficient supply of soil moisture, and unbalanced supply of calcium in pepper plants, leading to calcium deficiency in fruits. In addition, partial nitrogen fertilizer can also affect the plant's absorption of calcium, resulting in calcium deficiency in the fruit to produce umbilical rot. When the amount of calcium in the soil is below 0.2%, the disease easily occurs. Prevention of umbilical rot can be sprayed with 1% of superphosphate solution or 0.1% of calcium chloride solution. In addition, if the disease department becomes dark or rot, it can be combined with control of black mold or soft rot.

Soft rot. In the early stage of soft rot, it was a watery, dark green spot. The whole fruit was soft and rotted. It had a bad odor, and the inner pulp rotted. The peel turned white. After drying, the fruit was generally hung on the branches and fell off when the external force was applied. For the treatment of soft rot, 72% of agricultural streptomycin, 50% of DT bactericide, or 40% of streptomycin sulfate soluble powder, or alternatively, chlorinated, Garrinone, etc. can be sprayed alternately and sprayed once every 7 days. Spray 2-3 times.

Diseases. Most of the epidemics were infected from the pedicles and were stained with grayish-green spots. They quickly turned brown and soft rot. In wet weather, a sparse layer of white mold grows on the surface, and the diseased fruit does not shrink. Other parts of the stem, such as stalks, often water spots brown spots. Prevention of disease can be used 64% antivirus and 55% Rhizoctonia mixed solution (two agents each plus 30 grams dissolved in 15 kilograms of water), or 58% metalaxyl manganese zinc 400-600 times, or 69% ank manganese Zinc 800-1000 times, or 60% of manganese vanadium 750-1000 times alternating spray, spray once every 7 days, even spray 2-3 times.
