Covering the soil and increasing the benefits of mushroom cultivation

In the conventional cultivation and management of mushrooms, earthwork is a technically demanding job. For example, there are special requirements for earth-covered soil, soil aggregate structure, aeration, water retention and water holding capacity. Especially in the production of large, medium, and small earth-covered soil particles, it is labor- and time-consuming and labor-intensive. The use of humus in the surface of the woods or cultivating layers of paddy soil (sand loam, clay loam soil) plus 5% fresh chaff for mushroom cover material can achieve good results. The specific methods are now described as follows: When the silk grows to 1/2 or 2/3 of the culture material, select the necessary cover soil for sunny days and dry it to pieces. The maximum diameter of the soil particles should not exceed 2 cm. Then add 5% freshly-processed chaff (note that there are no grains in the chaff), mix well with the soil, and spray it repeatedly with 3% lime water to make the moisture content of the cover soil reach 18%. Spray 500 times of carbendazim, 1000 times of dichlorvos, and 200 times of formaldehyde solution. Open the film after sealing the membrane for 24 hours, and cover the soil after spraying the drug. The thickness of the cover soil is 3-4 cm, and the water content of the cover soil is adjusted to about 20% within 1-2 days as required. Adopting this method of covering soil not only facilitates soil extraction, saves labor and time, and has good soil ventilation performance. It is not easy to compact after water spray, and has strong water retention and water holding capacity. The yield is 15%-20% higher than that of conventional soil covering methods, and the product quality is also obvious. improve.
