Professor Xia Jinglin and Chen Luonan's research team have conducted long-term cooperation. The research team used a high-transfer human hepatocarcinoma nude mouse model to detect gene changes in different stages of liver cancer lung metastasis using a genome-wide transcriptional expression profile chip, and used the original dynamic network biomarker (DNB) method to find the third in tumor transplantation. Week is the critical stage of liver metastasis of liver cancer, and successfully identified and screened the DNB core gene with early warning value for liver metastasis of liver cancer. In order to verify the role of the key gene "CALML3" in DNB in ​​lung metastasis of liver cancer and its clinical prognostic value, CALML3 was found to have a significant inhibitory effect on liver cancer growth and lung metastasis in vitro and in vivo; The expression of CALML3 was positive in 114 cases, and the survival rate of these positive expression patients was significantly higher than that of 156 cases with negative expression of CALML3. The positive rate of recurrence and metastasis was also significantly lower in patients with positive CALML3 expression.
This study was the first to discover the inhibitory effect of CALML3 on liver cancer growth and lung metastasis. CALML3, as a tumor suppressor gene, is expected to be an early marker for liver metastasis of liver cancer and a new target for inhibiting liver cancer growth and lung metastasis.
