Calcium Treatment and Its Effect on Storage of Litchi

Litchi fruit contains a variety of forms of calcium, of which the main water-soluble calcium content, different forms of calcium in the process of mutual conversion. The addition of exogenous calcium increased the relative content of calcium in the cells, that is, bound calcium. In the different treatments, 4%, 8% CaCl#-[2] had better refrigerated storage. The calcium treatment kept the total amount of water-soluble cations at a high level during the later period of storage.
